Michael Wu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biostatistics, UNC Gillings School of Global Public, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The major thrust of the group's research lies in the development and application of statistical methods for analysis of high-dimensional genomic data within the broader context of analyzing population based genetic, gene-environment interaction, epigenetic, and metabolomic studies. Specific applications lie within a wide range of disorders and disease areas including cancer, autoimmune disorders, cardiovascular disease, and environmental health related traits.
